MPA activists and friends returned to peacefully picket Kedem Cosmetics in Deansgate last Thursday. The shop’s products  profit from the occupation of the Dead Sea and it’s denial of these resources to the Palestinian economy, illegal under international law. The summer pickets outside the store were massively successful in garnering support from around the city and resulted in the formation of MPA. Though the police were notoriously (though not surprisingly) heavy handed, and the Zionist shop supporters characteristically intimidating (including the mysterious visit by an senior Israeli figure) , MPA activists and friends have been resolute in their pickets. Since the picets tooks place, BDS activity has increased across the country with specific Kedem actions spreading into Scotland.

Pickets will take place weekly with the next one scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday 12th) at 12pm.
