The 9th Boycott Israel Network weekend workshop is an opportunity for activists to come together over a weekend to exchange ideas, discuss progress, develop new projects and share best practice for Boycott Divestment and Sanction campaigning. Given the victories so far in 2014, rising student action and the increased global solidarity since Israel’s destruction of Gaza, this year’s Boycott Israel Network conference will continue to enhance the already burgeoning Boycott, Divestment and Sanction movement in the UK.

The focus this year will be on ending the UK’s arm trade with Israel, intensifying action on major national campaigns and building a winning BDS formula. We also expect to begin off-site and a little earlier on the Friday with a major demonstration at the Elbit Israeli drone factory in Shenstone. There’s help for those who could have trouble paying for the stay and for students there’s a cut price that includes accommodation in Coalbrookedale Youth Hostel for two nights with all food for the weekend.

The Boycott Israel Network (BIN) is made up of individuals and organisations committed to campaigning for a comprehensive boycott of Israel, in response to the 2005 call from Palestinian civil society, until Israel complies with International law and the fundamental rights of the Palestinian people.
